カリム・ラフィの創作には人間や環境、自己との関係性のほか、慣習や思考、身近な環境によって規範され自らが導く結果に対する問いが含まれている。能動的または強制的な移動、日常と秩序や芸術の間をめぐる境界線について考察している。
ラフィの作品はこれまで、アートスペースや生活空間、空港、橋、フリーマーケット、電車、ビエンナーレやアートフェスティバル、路上、無名の場所などさまざまな場所で展示されている。

Karim Rafi’s work questions a person, environment, and his relationship with himself as well as with his outcomes, constituted by his institutions, ideas, and surroundings. Rafi explores the movement and the displacement, as well as the ordinary and its relation with order, art and its boundaries.
His work has been shown in various types of places; art spaces, living space, airports, bridges, flea markets, trains, biennales, festivals, streets or no man’s land.
